About this project:
Once the site of a coal-gas plant, a new park was created. This major park on the outskirts of central Amsterdam retains some of the old gas plant structures, but now offers open space, wetlands, ponds, creeks, pathways, cultural facilities, cafes, a cinema children's museum and more in a well coordinated reflection of the communities many needs for both passive and active recreational space.
