Centaur Street House
No. 1 Centaur Street, SE1
view from the street with railroad overpass behind
About this project:
Tucked away at the base of a railroad overpass, this small apartment building is a simple but innovative structure that features horizontal "boards" used as cladding spaced apart in a very appealing manner with a central pop out room facing the street. It is a good example of in-fill construction that remains consistent in scale to the surrounding buildings, but with a very complimentary yet contemporary design.
