About this project:
The museum and gift shop is a wood structure that blends in with the natural environment and sits lightly on the site. Constructed out of sustainable materials the architects wanted the building itself to be a lesson on protecting natural resources. Carpet, tiles, glass, and building insulation are all made of recycled materials. The affect is a warm inviting entrance space for the museum and nature trail.
