About this project:
The renovation of this historic landmark included an extensive $93 million effort to renovate all elements of the existing building on the inside and out. Improvements were made to accommodate the increased public use including expanded public spaces including a state of the art immersive planetarium, a 300-seat theater, restaurant and 60 new exhibits, among many other enhancements.
