About this project:
The elegantly designed Parris Building, Building 42, once served as a foundry. In 1974, when the facility was decommissioned, the Boston Redevelopment Authority purchased the shipyards at a cost of $1.74 million. Current investment in this ongoing project totals $350 million with an expected $900 million to be spent by its completion.
