About this project:
The most striking aspect of this building is the combination of rather discordant features that unexpectedly work very well together. The green garden wall at the entrance, the long glass wall that separates the building from the street, the colorful box volumes that extend out from the gallery spaces as though glued to a wall and the lush landscape and pond that surround the structures, all create spaces that are both humane and artful.
